Application of Chiral Columns for Achiral Compound Separations
Daicel is the global leader in chiral separations, and is at the forefront of polysaccharide-based chiral stationary phase (CSP) development. We have extensive experience utilizing these CSPs to perform chiral separations on both high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and super-critical fluid chromatography (SFC). More recently, it has been discovered that these CSPs perform well in achiral separations as well, such as for the separation of diastereomers or structural isomers. This has become clearer to us through our wealth of internal separations experience, while concurrently being recognized and acknowledged amongst our external users.
